Sunday, 9 August 2020. Starting point for all routes: 8:30 am, Parc Gran del Prat del Colat (La Massana). Finish: Coma d’Arcalís (Ordino), at 2,225 m.

The country’s longest-established cycle tourism event will have some new features for its 43rd edition. A ‘sterrato’ stretch at Les Pardines will be added to the longest and most demanding 4-star route, emulating part of the route from the Andorran stage of the 2019 Vuelta a España.

Where
from 30th August to 5th September 2020. Departure from Ribes de Freser (Ripollès, Girona) and arrival at Salardú (Naut Aran, Lleida); with three stages going through Andorra: Puigcerdà-Encamp (01/09); Encamp-Arinsal (02/09) and Arinsal-Tavascan (03/09).

The Pyrenees Stage Run is made up of seven stages, two of which cross the Principality of Andorra, entering through the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley and leaving through Comapedrosa Park. Teams of 2 or 3 people compete against one another in the trail in three different categories: women, men and mixed teams.

Spartan Race

Location and dates: Grau Roig and Encamp (Encamp), 5 and 6 September 2020.

The Grau Roig sector in Grandvalira is the setting for the various races scheduled: SPRINT, SUPER, BEAST, ULTRA, HH12HR and KIDS RACE, in which athletes of all ages and levels will put their limits to the test. The Spartan Race Andorra – Encamp is an event that counts towards the Spain National Championship Series in the Elite and Age Group categories.

La Sportiva Andorra Trail 2020

5th and 6th September 2020; with starting points and finishing lines at Plaça de la Germandat in Sant Julià de Lòria and Plaça Coprínceps in Escaldes-Engordany.

This new event, an addition to Andorra’s annual trail running calendar, will take place on the first weekend of September this year. Teams of two will compete in this two-stage race and, with a medium/high level of difficulty, the route is designed for fans of the discipline. Both the starting point and the finish line of each of the stages are in central urban areas.

Andorra Walking Festival

Over six days, the mornings of the Andorra Walking Festival will take you along some of the most iconic routes in our geography, including the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, Casamanya Mountain, Vall del Riu (river valley), the Pessons cirque glacier or the Incles Valley. The guided outings will have different difficulty levels.

Saturday 13 September 2020, starting at Sant Julià de Lòria and finishing at Cortals d’Encamp (2,083 m), covering the Alt de la Rabassa, Coll de la Gallina, Alt de la Comella, Collada de Beixalís and Coll d’Ordino mountain passes.

Following in the footsteps of previous editions, La Purito Andorra – Andbank Grand Prix will bring together cycling enthusiasts from various countries. This non-competitive cycling event, created by former professional cyclist Joaquim Rodríguez Oliver, will exceptionally be held on Saturday 13 September this year and is open to cyclists of all levels, who can sign up for one of the three routes offered by the organisers: 120 km, with an elevation gain of 4,800 m; 80 km, with an elevation gain of 3,500 m; or 28 km, with an elevation gain of 1,700 m.

The Andorra stage of the 2020 Trial will take place over two days. This round of the World Championship will score in TrialGP, Trial2 and Trial125 categories for men, and TrialGP and Trial2 for women.
